The Nuri Zulol range is made from natural, ecologically clean fruit, grapes and vegetables of Tajikistan, processed on modern Italian equipment using a gentle technology. The Nuri Zulol range is a byword for being natural, and it meets world standards of healthy eating and quality.
2008 — the founding and a first step towards success
The brand's story begins in 2008, when a modern line for producing natural juices and nectars in aseptic Tetra Pak packaging was commissioned with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.
Using modern equipment from Tetra Pak (Sweden) enabled the company to make products meeting every international standard. The first to reach the market were Nuri Zulol juices in 1.0 L packs, made from select fruit purée obtained from produce grown on the fertile lands of Tajikistan.
This equipment was an investment by a new shareholder of JSC Obi Zulol — Beibars & K LLP (Republic of Kazakhstan), which took on the commitment to develop the company's production capacity further after becoming a shareholder in 2007, acquiring the shares of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the American investment fund Aqua Crystal.
2011 — innovation in fruit processing
In 2011 Nuri Zulol reached a new stage of development: a modern line for processing fruit and vegetables, built on Italian technology from JBT, was commissioned at the plant. The company could now process domestic fruit, tomatoes and vegetables into natural purée in aseptic packaging by itself, ensuring consistent product quality. As a result the brand widened its range, launching juices in more than 10 different flavours.
2020 — the premium segment and baby food
In 2020 Nuri Zulol brought a premium juice range in glass bottles (0.33 L and 0.5 L) to market, and launched production of baby food in a convenient soft pouch. This category included:
- Nuri Zulol fruit purée (90 g) — ideal for a baby's first solid food;
- Nuri Zulol fruit smoothies — a snack for consumers of every age;
- SportBar energy smoothie (110 g) — a healthy snack for people with an active lifestyle;
- fruit spread (220 g) — a natural product made to traditional recipes;
- Toj juices (200 g) — natural juices in convenient packs for children and adults.
2021 — a wider range
Obi Zulol introduced a new grape-processing line equipped by the Italian firm AGRIMAT. This made it possible to produce clarified grape juice and grape rectificate — a natural liquid grape sugar rich in natural fructose and glucose, antioxidants, B vitamins and minerals. The product is made from grapes grown without chemical fertilisers, which guarantees its ecological purity.
Grape sugar is added in place of refined sugar to nectars, fruit drinks and juice-based beverages, and is used to refine the taste of juices and of baby and sports nutrition. That same year the company also launched production of Nuri Zulol ketchups (210 g, classic and hot).
2023 — sustainability and new products
The Nuri Zulol brand began producing jams (350 g), fruit and fruit-and-vegetable purées (180 g), and natural juices (250 ml) in glass bottles. The new pack format underlined the company's commitment to sustainability and to preserving natural taste.
2024 — convenience for everyone
The Nuri Zulol brand began producing a new juice format (250 ml) in Tetra Pak packaging with a straw, making the product even more accessible to children and active consumers. Thanks to modern production technology, Nuri Zulol juices retain the maximum of the beneficial properties of fruit and vegetables, while the use of grape sugar improves the taste without harming health.
Nuri Zulol — the taste of nature in every sip. Every product in the range is free from flavourings, preservatives and artificial additives.
